About us
Alicanto is a Luxembourg based umbrella SICAV established on 4 July 2016. It is a multi-compartment investment, harmonized in accordance with the Luxembourg law of 17 December 2010 which incorporates the European Directive n° 2009/65 / EC of 13 July 2009 concerning collective investments - UCITS IV ("Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities") - authorized for distribution in Italy.
The assets of each sub-fund are completely segregated from those of the others and the individual sub-funds invest in different combinations of financial instruments according to their specific investment policies and consistently with distinct risk / return objectives. Each sub-fund can be subscribed both by institutional investors and by retail investors who subscribe their specific reserved classes of shares.
Organization
ALICANTO belongs to the category of privileged SICAVs (in which the operative and investment activities are not carried out directly by the Board of Directors of the SICAV but are delegated to a specialized third-party company, the Management Company). This is an additional protection for investors who benefit from a double level of control over the activities carried out.
ALICANTO SICAV has selected ALICANTO CAPITAL SGR as Management Company.

Board of Directors
Stefano Giovannetti
He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services and asset management industry, both traditional (UCITS) and alternative (HF, FOHF, PE, VC). Since 2013 he is Director of the law firm Bonn Steichen & Partners. Previously he had over 10 years of experience as a senior manager in leading companies providing services for the structuring of investment solutions.
Antonello Senes
A qualified lawyer, in Italy and in Luxembourg, he has gained over 20 years of experience in large multinational companies with roles of responsibility in various international contexts. Since 2008 he has been working in law firms and since 2012, he is founder and managing partner of Justlex. As part of the legal profession, he has specific skills in the financial field (Investment Funds, Real Estate, Wealth Management) and tax. He has acted as independent director and advisor for numerous Luxembourg investment vehicles (SICAR, SIF, SICAV).
Angelo Rusconi
He has over 20 years of experience in various fields of the banking and financial sector with a specific investment expertise in the corporate bond market. Since 2009 he has been working in the Company and since 2015 he’s been holding top positions. Previously he gained significant experience in the field of consulting and investment banking.
